II. HALF GUARD DRILL CONTINUED: COUNTER SINGLE LEG:
  1. From step I.c. when partner attempts Single Leg, take a long step back and behind keeping pressure on his shoulder with cross face
  2. Break his grip by taking leg back
  3. Re-establish Quarter Position Top
  4. Partner will Cross Hook to control leg and then
  5. Shoulder Roll to Re-Guard
III. SET UP WRONG SIDE SINGLE LEG ATTACK:
  1. When partner attempts to counter my Guard Pass by turning to belly and attacking Single Leg
  2. Switch legs to give him opposite leg leaving him in the wrong position
  3. Capture arm to
  4. Rolling Omoplata
  5. Clock Chokes etc.
IV. KNEE ON BELLY ATTACK:
  1. Begin in Kuzure Kesagatame
  2. Keep foot posted close
  3. Pop Up to Knee On Belly
  4. Change to Near Collar Grip
  5. Sprawl to Cross Body Control
  6. If opponent attempts Far Under Hook, Control Waist
V. KNEE ON BELLY ATTACK TO COBRA HOLD:
  1. Begin in Kuzure Kesagatame
  2. With Inside Arm, Under Hook his Near Arm
  3. Using Body/Chest, pass his near arm across his body
  4. Capture his wrist with your Far Arm, then pass Near Arm under his neck and switch grip to create Cobra Hold
  5. Block hips and pop up to Knee On Belly
  6. Sprawl back to Cross Body
VI. SIDE TRIANGLE CHOKE FROM COBRA HOLD:
  1. Begin in Kuzure Kesagatame
  2. With Inside Arm, Under Hook his Near Arm
  3. Using Body/Chest, pass his near arm across his body
  4. Capture his wrist with your Far Arm, then pass Near Arm under his neck and switch grip to create Cobra Hold
  5. Block hips and pop up to Knee On Belly
  6. Sprawl back to Cross Body
VII. HALF GUARD TOP:
  1. Keep his back on floor with Under Hooks at neck and far arm
  2. Pass head to floor under Far Side arm pit
  3. Begin to push down leg and free your leg
  4. If possible, go to Mount with Double Under Hooks control position, pushing his leg off with opposite hook
  5. If you cannot pass to Mount, switch head to other side and continue with standard Head Post Pass
VIII. HALF GUARD TOP W/ HEAD AND ARM TRIANGLE SUBMISSION:
  1. From position IV, if he puts pressure on back of head while on Far Side Head Post Pass
  2. Complete Head & Arm Triangle
  3. Pass Knee across belly to complete pass and submit
IX. COUNTER TO HEAD AND ARM TRIANGLE (HIPS UP):
  1. If caught in Head & Arm Triangle, and opponent makes mistake of keeping hips up
  2. Make a Frame to keep pressure on opponent’s neck
  3. Bridge and take a long step over own arm
  4. Roll him over you by catching his arm
  5. Turn to North-South
X. CONTINUATION FROM IX:
  1. Continuation from VI.
  2. If you escape Head & Arm but cannot make it to North-South
  3. Post head and hop over body to Ushiro Kesagatame position
XI. COUNTER BACK CONTROL SLIDING LEVERAGE CHOKE:
  1. As opponent attacks Sliding Leverage Choke, post to keep from all to side
  2. Reverse to fall to ‘proper’ side
  3. Take pressure off choke by pulling down on arm
  4. Make sure to keep elbows in tight
  5. Push back and pass over his leg, using Inside Leg Hook to prevent Mount Attack
  6. Attack Half Guard Sweeps etc.
XII. COUNTER TO BACK CONTROL ESCAPE:
  1. As he falls to side, remove top arm and feed under arm pit to far lapel
  2. Keep him pulled tight to body
  3. As he continues to attempt escape, attack Head & Arm Triangle Choke
  4. Can kick his leg off to attack choke
XIII. COUNTER TO XII.
  1. As you are making the Back Control Escape and sense that you are being attacked by Head & Arm Counter
  2. Make Frame and begin Head & Arm Triangle Counter rolling him over
XIV. HALF GUARD BOTTOM TO DE LA HIVA HOOKS:
  1. Half Guard Bottom Shin in arm pit
  2. Opponent goes for Knee Split Position
  3. Place one foot to hip
  4. Insert other foot to de la Riva Hook
  5. Hold Hook-side Achilles
  6. Foot in Hip
  7. Hold Same Side Sleeve
  8. Timing option 1
  9. Switch to Knee Push Sweep
  10. Attack Triangle Choke
XV. DE LA HIVA HOOKS TO TRIPOD SWEEP:
  1. you are in de la Riva Hooks and opponent stands
  2. Switch feet to attack Tripod Sweep
  3. As he fall, do Technical Stand Up controlling ankles to
  4. Double Achilles Control Position
XVI. DOUBLE ACHILLES CONTROL TO PASS:
  1. Standard ‘Under Leg’ Pass or
  2. Leg Lace Pass
  3. (Key Points)
  4. Keep tight to avoid opponent turning to Turtle
  5. Take time to pass to keep pressure
XVII. DE LA HIVA HOOKS: HELICOPTER SWEEP:
  1. Begin in de la Riva Hook position (left hook)
  2. Switch right grip to Cross Sleeve
  3. Straighten left leg as you pull his sleeve over your head to off balance
  4. Switch grip from ankle to inside his opposite knee
  5. Twist legs and pull him backwards to sweep
  6. Inside Knee Push option
XVIII. DE LA HIVA (NO GI) HELICOPTER SWEEP:
  1. begin No Gi de la Riva Hooks
  2. Push him away, sitting up quick to outside of leg
  3. Dive to back between legs pulling his inner knee like High Crotch Grab takedown
XIX. HALF GUARD FLOW:
  1. Half Guard Bottom Shin in Arm Pit
  2. Sit Up to Butterfly Guard Sweep to Kesagatame
  3. He tries to Re-Guard
  4. Head Stand Hop Over to Far Side Kesa
XXI. KNEE ON BELLY FLOW:
  1. Pop Up to Knee On Belly
  2. He pushes knee, go to Knee On Clavicle
  3. He pushes knee, Back Spin to S-Mount
XX. CONTINUATION OF HALF GUARD FLOW:
  1. From Head Stand land in Knee On Belly
  2. He pushes knee, go to Knee On Clavicle
  3. He pushes knee, Back Spin to S-Mount
I. HALF GUARD DRILL:
  1. Begin in Half Guard Bottom with Shin in Arm Pit Controls
  2. Gi or No Gi Grips
  3. Kick into arm pit and sit up to get Under Hook
  4. Turn to Belly and attack Single Leg Tackle
  5. Partner ‘B’  will Sprawl
  6. Sit Out and take Quarter Position Top
  7. Partner ‘B’ finds Cross Hook Control
  8. Partner ‘B’ shoulder roll to Re-Guard
  9. Reverse Roles and continue drill
